In a small village in the middle of the tropical forest in Costa Rica, live Tita and her sloth pet Teeko. Tita runs a famously known "Soda" or restaurant next to the town plaza, where every year people gather to have some delicious Casado before heading over to the annual "Día de las Mascaradas". During this day, people all around the country visit to witness the cultural dances and festivities. People dance while wearing costumes, masks, and "Gigantes" or giants on top of their shoulders to create astonishing tall figures that chase people around and scare kids away.

Tita and Teeko find themselves in the middle of the “Día de las Mascaradas”, when suddenly the masks come to life and start chasing anyone who crosses their path. It is up to you to help Tita and Teeko rescue those who have been possessed by their costumes and bring back peace to the village.
